china town in parisGobelins is a bright example of modern Paris with high-rise buildings. At the beginning of this century business activity was rapidly growing, that is why today it is the newly built business district of Paris Rive Gauche.

But your tourist attention should be riveted to Paris’ Chinatown that placed at the South-East of the vicinity. Over 150 Chinese restaurants concentrate at this medium size area. Obviously, this area is settled not only Chinese, but also Vietnamese, Khmer, Cantonese.
Honestly, this district is not very tourist, but there are some objects that should be seen, for example the Bibliothèque François Mitterrand and the Joan of Arc statue that personifies the national French heroine.
