General Description

A refinement that mirrors the high repute of the surrounding area flows subtlety throughout the entire space – from the greens and elegant seating in the living room to the warm lighting in the dining area to waking up to a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower to relaxing in a luxurious bath.

The Entrance

Open the door and enter into the epitome of a large luxury apartment. The roomy entrance leads to the living and dining rooms, while access to unique spiral stairs rise to the second bedroom.

The Terrace

Enjoy a meal or simply admire the view of the Eiffel Tower and river Seine; overlooking the streets of Paris from seven stories above, the terrace offers an almost perfect view of the city.

The Living Room

A huge living room, 452m, achieves elegance through simplicity. Adorned with dark, earthy drapes, two double glazed windowsface the Parisian streets and open to the balcony described above. Wall-to-wall dark green carpeting covers the entire floor and provides a striking contrast to the pale colored walls. On the far end, below two complimentary pictures, lies a large sofa; along with two armchairs positioned on either side, the floral print ranges from light to dark brown tones, while the outside of each piece is a solid medium tone. A rectangular glass table, almost the length of the sofa cushions, has a unique green and gold base.

On the other side of the room, placed against the wall that faces the second window is another sofa, similar in pattern and tone with the exception of its dark arms. Adjacent is a fireplace with a flat-screen television set hanging above. The room also contains small end tables and two chairs, upholstered in green tones, located against the wall space between the two windows. Natural light illuminates the space along with warm wall fixtures.

The Dining Room

The floor, walls and window treatment in the dining room contains the same color schematic as the living area. The dining room has a long glass table with six light colored chairs; two chairs placed around the room can be added to comfortably seat up to eight diners. Warm lights yield a candle-like ambiance, while opening the curtains provides a view of the courtyard. The room is also furnished with a light-toned buffet and a chest, with green accents and glass doors that show off china placed on the upper shelves; this room connects to the kitchen.

The Kitchen

Bright and spacious, the kitchen window faces toward the courtyard. The “marbled” brown tiles floors and similar marble countertops contrast the white appliances and ample storage space overhead and below can be used for cookware, tableware and utensils and pantry items. Fully modernized, the kitchen comes equipped with a microwave, vitro ceramic, extractor hood, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, and a washer and dryer.

The First Bedroom

Residents wake up to an awe-inspiring view of the Eiffel Tower through a double glazed window that faces the street. In addition to a double bed and wardrobe, the room contains carpeting and air conditioning.

The Second Bedroom

Also facing the beautiful streets of Paris, this upstairs bedroom contains a double bed and night table; it also has carpet floors and direct access to a bathroom.

The Third Bedroom

With an incredible view of the river Seine and sites of Paris, this bedroom is decorated with green carpets and green/orange curtains; it has a mahogany colored bedpost with two matching side tables; an art print hangs on the wallbehind the double bed. A large wardrobe with sliding mirrored doors is adjacent to the bed.

The Fourth Bedroom

Sheer curtains flow over a window that faces the courtyard in this room with a striped area rug covering wooden floors; covered in throw pillows with polka dots, the sofa pulls out into a comfortable double bed; the room also contains a wardrobe, small table and floor lamp.

The Fifth Bedroom

A dark carpet and brown bedding make for a simple bedroom that faces the courtyard and directly connects to a bathroom.

The First Bathroom

With gray marble-patterned tiles throughout and a screen-like window, this bathroom contains a sink and bathtub/shower, toilet, amble counter space and a large mirror.

The Second Bathroom

Lined with tile flooring, the second bathroom contains a washbasin and bathtub with shower; the toilet is separate.

The Third Bathroom

Attached to the fifth bedroom, this bathroom has two washbasins, a bathtub with showerhead, toilet, well-lit large mirror, full-length storage cabinet with mirrored doors, and a tiled floor.

Toilet #1

A toilet with nearby washbasin and mirror is separate from a bathroom.

Toilet #2

Atiledroom contains a separate toilet.

Holding Alley

A narrow hall with wood floors leads the bedrooms and contains another washbasin; unadorned windows that run the length of the corridor.

The Area/Environment

Considered bourgeois and a safe place to live, many diplomats reside in sections of the 16th area of Paris such as Auteuil and Passy. In addition to arenas such as the Parc des Princes for football, Stade Jean-Bouin for rugby and the Roland Garros Stadium, home to the French tennis open, this area is also known for its museums and architecture such as the Chaillot and Marmottan Museums and Arts Nouveau architecture (by Guinard) along rue Lafontaine.

Residents can also easily obtain daily items at a bakery, butchery and open-air market or render services from a doctor or nearby drugstore. Aside from prestigious sites, numerous shops, cafés, restaurants and bars, museums and theatres offer a range of Parisian cultural experiences. Metro: Passy (line 6)
