General Description
Light pastel colors, an attention to maximizing space and the use of simple elements in each room create a warm, inviting environment throughout the entire apartment. The location of the large living room windows gives residents the advantage and beauty of natural illumination during the day, while light fixtures aim to keep the warm effect during the evening hours. Outfitted with modern appliances as well as tableware and utensils, the kitchen provides all the requisite conveniences for at-home dining. The bathroom contains a large tub and cupboard, while the toilet is separate.
The Living Room
The living room has a natural feel with its parquet wood floors, ecru and light brown tones and large picture window that lets in natural light. Two sofas are positioned on opposing sides of the room, leaving open space in the center of the room. Along the walls adjacent to the sofas are a circular table, with a leaf folded down to enable it to be flush against the wall, surrounded by two upholstered chairs opposite a coffee table, suitable for reading material or playing board games. Different art prints add color and extra personality to the room, while light fixtures emit warm light.
The Kitchen
The kitchen is separate from the living area and outfitted with the necessary appliances and utensils.
The Bedroom
Adorned with simple, natural colors akin to the living room, the bedroom contains a large double bed and sofa; aside from a small neutral/pink striped mat positioned at the foot of the bed and a predominantly red-tone wall hanging, the parquet floors and walls are left bare. The room also includes two night tables with beautiful lamps, a table and a floor lamp. The Bathroom
The bathroom contains a freestanding bathtub with shower attachment; the tub has a mauve exterior. The sink has a small cupboard underneath and a mirror placed on the wall behind the washbasin has lighting. The room is bright, with white walls and light tan and pale orange tiles on the floor. In addition to a drying board for towels, the bathroom contains a washing machine. The toilet is separate.
The Area/Environment
The 18th area of Paris is known for its breathtaking views of the city when looking down at the labyrinth of streets in Monmartre; the area has always attracted artists, musicians and thespians – the Moulin Rouge still one of the most popular entertainment venues. Residents experience a variety of French culture, with many nearby restaurants, cafés and bars.
