ID 349: Apartment in Paris, 8-th arrondissement
The Living Room
The Living Room in the apartment is a classic Paris salon; similar to what the wealthy Parisians of the 18th and 19th centuries lived in. It’s a perfect mix of hardwood and upholstered furniture, carpeting, mirrors, artwork, a fireplace, and large windows that flood the room with daylight. You’ll find glimpses of the past all over this splendid living room, and will be eager to invite friends or business associates over for any type of gathering.
The 1st Bedroom
Keeping with the theme of the entire apartment, this bedroom is very roomy and glamorous. A large canopy bed, a sofa, armchairs, vintage chandelier and wardrobe, fireplace, fine moldings, beautiful draperies – everything about this room is lavish. Artwork and other decorative pieces are on the walls and spread throughout the room.
The 2nd Bedroom
The 2nd Bedroom is no less grandiose. There is a large mirrored-door closet, two plump beds, comfortable chairs, a nightstand, ornate mirror, and original lighting.
The Office
The Office, or den is lavish than most salons and a place conducive to both work and relaxation. Furnishings include a luxurious couch, and many other seating options. Of course there is a desk with a personal computer, armchairs, a large bookcase, perimeter lighting. The large paned-glass window is decorated with fashionable draperies and lets in plenty of natural light.
The Kitchen
In the large kitchen you will find everything a chef could desire. Double-door refrigerator, range, microwave, any small appliance you could possibly need, excellent dishes and cutlery, a fine dining table and chairs.
The Bathroom
Both bathrooms adjoin the bedrooms, are modern and functional. Bath, large sinks with counter space and cabinets, large mirrors, and dryer for towels and clothes.
The Area/Environment
Perhaps, in view of magnificence of the apartment, its location becomes secondary. But, the 8th arrondissement boasts the most magnificent square in all of France, place de la Concorde with the most antique monument in Paris, the Obelisk of Luxor, over 70 meters high and is 3300 years old; the impressive triumphal arch, the Arc de Triomphe; the most luxurious hotels in the world, the world’s most exclusive residential street and home of such famous designer brands such as Valentino, Christian Dior, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Prada, and Faubourg-St-Honore – the world’s most luxurious shopping street. Metro: line 1 Georges V.
