General Description

Owned and decorated by artists Elisa and Alberto, who remodeled the studio in 2008 with an artistic eye; the combination of design and the benefits of its locality make this an ideal short-term rental opportunity. Situated on the third and top floor of a building without an elevator, the studio is well suited for couples and business travelers alike. The space contains double South/North exposure, making the most of natural light that shine through three prominent windows; residents enjoy an amazing view of the city, extending across a horizon of rooftops as well as the labyrinth of streets below. Attractive for its aesthetics this practical living space includes a living room with pull out sofa, kitchen and bath.

The Living Room

The elongated living room with hardwood floors contains a large 160cm red sofa that converts into a bed. A 90cm LCD TV is attached to the wall and an entertainment center contains a CD/DVD/MP3 player; in addition residents have access to high speed WIFI Internet and full heating. The room also contains a bookcase, variable red coffee/dining table with seating for two positioned near a window and with a light hanging above, a large wardrobe with mirrored doors, unique artwork dons the walls giving the space more panache. In addition, residents can draw a curtain, separating the living area for privacy.

The Kitchen

A contemporary kitchen at the far end of the studio has tiled floors and a window the same width as the flooring, which designates this “room” from the living/dining space. Equipped with many modern conveniences, residents have use of an electric cooker, oven, refrigerator, coffee maker and teakettle, toaster oven, washer and an iron. Red cabinets are consistent with the red tones of the couch and dining table; located above and below the countertop with sink, providing more than adequate storage for utensils, cook- and table- wares as well as pantry items.

The Bathroom

Faced with white tiles and accents of red, the bathroom contains a freestanding sink, bathtub/shower, towel dryer, toilet and a large well-lit mirror.

The Area/Environment

Located within walking distance of the Sacré Cœur Basillica, admired for its architecture, studio provides a quiet respite as well as easy access to the many experiences of the 18th area of Paris. Residents can try a variety of Parisian cuisine offered in the many cafés and restaurants as well as taste beers, wines and other beverages in local bars.
