bois de vincennes12th district is the second big vicinity in Paris. It might called just forest instead of Reuilly. Due to Bois de Vincennes it is the biggest park zone in the whole city. There are beautiful lakes, various canals and fountains, romantic boat trips, zoo where you can see even the Asian elephants, gardens, Renaissance architecture, velodrome and hippodrome.

Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy in 12th district represents an indoor sport arena for many sport events in the city and a ground for stars’ music concerts.

Gare du Lyon had its name after the city Lyon. It was built to the World Exposition in 1900. Its classic style reminds English structures to many people . Don’t miss a chance to visit the restaurant Le Train Bleu nearby, that has been serving its client since 1901.

13th district: Gobelins

But your tourist attention should be riveted to Paris’ Chinatown that placed at the South-East of the vicinity. Over 150 Chinese restaurants concentrate at this medium size area. Obviously, this area is settled not only Chinese, but also Vietnamese, Khmer, Cantonese.
Honestly, this district is not very tourist, but there are some objects that should be seen, for example the Bibliothèque François Mitterrand and the Joan of Arc statue that personifies the national French heroine.

15th district: Vaugirard

montparnasseIn fact, this area is a vicinity of contrast. It is enough to compare upper-class buildings with next modest habitations of local student and workers. Of course, the main focus point of this place is the Tour Montparnasse 210 meters in height which is the highest skyscraper in the whole Paris and the ninth tallest building in Europe. The top floor is open for public and offers them some souvenir shops and restaurants that lead the magnificent panorama.

15th district is also a location of Île des Cygnes. It is a small artificial island that is famous mainly for French Statue of Liberty.
For art-lovers this district can be useful due to numerous museums. There are Porte de Versailles that is nearby Front de Seine that called Beaugrenelle, approaches the Eiffel Tower, Musée Bourdelle, Musée Pasteur, Musée du Service des Objets Trouvés.

16th district: Passy

avenue fochFirst of all, this district is a place of a large number of diplomatic embassies and residential areas like Auteuil and Passy. Due to its reputation and social level, this district is considered as one of the most safe and quite.

Furthermore, you can find here Avenue D’Eylau where “James Bond, Thunder ball” in 1965 was shot and the widest and wealthiest street in Paris called Avenue Foch that previously had been named Avenue du Bois de Boulogne. Why? Because it runs from the Arc de Triomphe and finishes at the end of Bois de Boulogne park. By the way, French call this park «a lung» because it is many times bigger than the most popular park in London and New York. There are 30 kilometers of routes, 18 cafés, zoo, children park amusement and hippodrome.

But sport fans love 16th district not for its museums. There are several big sport grounds here, that are Parc des Princes (the stadium of Paris SG football club), Stade Jean-Bouin (home of Français Rugby Union) and the Roland Garros Stadium (the stage for tennis French open).

Working-class in the northern part, where the famous Place de Clichy is, upper-class in the southern area with Avenue des Ternes and Marché Poncelet and the former independent village of Batignolles between them, right in the center.

18th district is the highest point of Paris, as well. It is a church Sacré Coeur that opens a great views and dazzles its glorious architecture.
